I'm Donna Jay - a breeder you can trust!

Thank you for taking the time, to browse through my website, here you will find my breeding history of 19 years building a reputation within the dog world, which has led me to become a world renown household name.

My prioritising health and sought after bloodlines ensure the majority of my babies are reserved prior to birth. If enquiries come in daily, I choose homes carefully and always speak to potential new owners to build a rapor before we meet, I follow my gut instinct and I advise you to do the same, if something doesn’t feel right ITS NOT! I have a lot of repeat customers and recommendations, hence why the demand is so high,

Although I’ve never been interested in showing as my love drives me to produce, that’s what I excel in, some of us are show men Personally, I prefer to create nothing less than the very best and more and more Show homes are contacting me as my dogues are winning. Over the years with all the customer feedback I’ve realised, watching my babies grow and seen pictures of them as fully developed adults. They are true to type Bordeauxs, Although they may not all be related, your can sure tell one of my Dogues a mile off. My small breeds are my new found love as age creeps up on us all I want to put my expertise and knowledge into the breeds I’m fond of and have had as a child so there is a passion from the off set, I’m a firm believer if you follow your passion you will never work a day in your life and that’s how I’ve managed to work the hours I do. 

In May 2021 I was diagnosed with breast cancer. This was the most scariest time of my life. My dogs were the reason I got up every single day, when going through chemotherapy I knew my dogs depended on me and I depended on them, on days I couldn’t clean and scrub I Stood and groomed, we were each others strength, my dogs knew mum wasn’t right, I tried to walk the Bordeauxs they pulled me over due to me being weak from cancer treatment, This was a turning point for me, I was faced with the hardest decision of my life going against my heart. I realised I had to limit my giant breed. This actually almost broke me. People depend on me to produce at such a high standard and I don’t like to let anybody down.

Hello, I’m Donna Jay, a certified five star license Breeder with Stafford Borough Council, ( M090158) situated in the rural countryside of Staffordshire 

I have owned and loved the Dogue de Bordeaux, cavapoo, cavalier King Charles spaniels and miniature hair dachshunds totalling 19 years now, I’d like to share with you what I’ve achieved single-handedly purely for the love and passion I hold for these breeds

I love what I do, and my dogs and my family are my life, the excellence I’ve achieved in following my heart to produce what I see as oldschool dogue de Bordeaux is evident in the puppies I’ve produced and are still aiming to produce better with each litter, being a perfectionist I’m my own worst critique, I devote every day to them 365 days a year I never take a day off nor do I take holidays I live and breathe my dogs

Everyone who visits me, compliments me on how clean, and well kept my animals are they live in their own purpose built bungalow with hot and cold air-conditioning, it is a home from home my dogs want for nothing, all my dogs are well socialised. I’m a strong believer in this as it’s crucial for them to get along with people and other animals from a young age, i’m often seen on hikes with my dogs, as I am an outdoorsy kind of girl, who loves to be in nature, ensuring the mental state, fitness and and well-being is my priority for both myself and my dogs.

The bloodlines I have most are exclusive to Donna Jay in the Uk!! I am a world renowned name and over the years I’ve tailored my blood lines uniquely so I stand out from the crowd. Take a look at the pictures they speak volumes., having studied fertility treatment, this enables me to keep my dogs healthy from inside out. There is no length I won’t go to to produce nothing less than excellence. I produce for temperament , type confirmation, structure, and movement and a longer healthy life as I’ve noticed some of the dogs when bread incorrectly are dying Young, this horrifies me I put 110% in Weather.
